Speaker 1:

Hey friend, welcome to Milk and Honey with Lemon. The Bible says in Numbers 14.8,. And if the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey. On this podcast we talk about stepping into that overflow that God has for us by becoming those ultimate Proverbs 31 women. Hey, I'm Lemon. I am just like you, sister friend. I knew God had something more in store for me, but I couldn't see a way out of the laundry piles and, frankly, I resented that. Proverbs 31 woman. How was I going to live up to the hype? That is until I found out how to really step into becoming this Proverbs 31 woman through leadership development. In this podcast you're going to find financial freedom, leadership, growth and motivation so you'll be able to do all the things God has called you to do with ease and really step into that land of milk and honey.

Speaker 1:

Welcome back to the Milk and Honey podcast. I'm your host, lemon Price, and I am really excited to be recording this episode today. I feel like I still have to tell everyone that I'm still getting over chlorine cloud cough from the biolab explosion in Georgia. So if I sound nasally and things today. That is why and I'm so sorry However, my good friend, michelle Schaefer, sent me this tiger's milk mushroom and in three days it has made a drastic improvement on my lungs. So if it also sounds weird, like there's a weird pause or something, chances are I probably am taking a drink and then trying to cut out some of the weirdness. But it might sound weird today. I'm just. I'm sorry, you're getting realness from me, and so I record this episode every year after Activate. This year I took a full week off before I recorded.

Speaker 1:

No one believes me that I'm actually an introvert, because I have a podcast and I live stream and I speak on stages. I can do those things, and Bobby Schaefer, michelle's husband and I we were joking about the fact that I can do it because I cheered for 20 years, and so being in front of a crowd doesn't bother me at all. I like it. However, I don't recharge my batteries in a crowd of people. So, like this year was really grateful.

Speaker 1:

I stayed alone at our conference and everything, so I could get alone time at night, and I needed that. I think, to be a better person during the conference. So I love this conference because it really is Holy Spirit led, and I'm sure people say that all the time Like, oh, I go to this conference, but where are you mixing business and Jesus at the same time? And like you're starting everything out with worship? And everything that we do as a community is meant to bring you closer to what it is God has in store for you, right? So maybe you do need to be a better speaker, a leader, all kinds of things is meant for you to go out into the community, go out and serve people around you in the best way you possibly can and just do what the gifts and talents God has given you. And so I always know that the conference is going to be really good when the enemy tries really hard to stop it.

Speaker 1:

So my friend Camille she was supposed to make a major announcement at Activate this year and Hurricane Milton came and she was in Tampa, and so they evacuated because at that time Milton was a Category 5. They were talking about inventing a Category 6, which is crazy, talk to me and so she left and so she couldn't come to the conference and so I ended up making this announcement for her. But because of the hurricane this was like so wild. I got a text from Southwest Tuesday afternoon. I was supposed to fly out on Thursday morning. Southwest texted me Tuesday and said that my airport in Savannah was on the list to be impacted by this hurricane and I should probably change my flight. And so I spent an hour on and off back and forth with Southwest on Tuesday afternoon trying to coordinate with my husband because of course he's got to take me to the airport and then also coordinating with the hotel to make sure that I could even get into the hotel on Wednesday instead. So I ended up flying out Wednesday, which honestly was super peaceful too. I always fly in the day the conference starts. I won't do that anymore.

Speaker 1:

It was really nice to get there the day before and I just took a nap and like I went to bed at a decent time and so that was honestly 10 out of 10. And I was alone. Like it was honestly really nice. Like I love everybody and I love being social, but like it was really nice to be alone. And so we started Thursday night with worship, which was beautiful, and it was so.

Speaker 1:

What was so beautiful too is this year we had a lot of like new moms. Like a lot of new moms, a lot of first-time moms, and so they brought their babies and so I got to hold. It was so beautiful. I held my friend Ruby's her babies, especially her son. She has 20s and if Ruby listens to this, she can tell you there's pictures all over my Facebook and my Instagram of Ruby's son. He fell in love immediately. He's so beautiful, he's so sweet, and every time he was staring at me he just had this big smile and so I was loving on him. And then my friend Natalie brought her six-week-old to the conference, which was beautiful. I got to feed him while she was eating dinner and it was just really nice to be surrounded by this next generation and to see these women right and a lot of them brought their husbands too, which was really cool. But to see these wives and mothers out here praising Jesus, thriving in business, but bringing their babies with them, and I was like you really can have it all. And that's the thing I like about this, about Kingdom Alliance. So that's the other big thing. So a big announcement is we've rebranded fully to Kingdom Alliance, which is beautiful. There's no more necessarily separate men's and women's mentorship communities. Everybody's operating as one, which is really beautiful.

Speaker 1:

So there was a lot of big things that happened at that event. So the first big announcement and I'm going to have all of these incredible people on the podcast to talk about it but one of the incredible announcements was the Kingdom Wealth Academy and we have Kingdom Wealth Foundation. So my friend Michelle Tasco is running that. I beta tested it with her over the summer. Glenn and I both did and in a span of 10 weeks we paid off like $4,000 worth of debt in 10 weeks, which is that's a lot, and we bought a house in 10 weeks. It wasn't even on our radar at the beginning I've told this story before but we thought we weren't going to look until February. But because we paid off so much debt and we freed up so much room in our finances and everything, and then the Lord prompted us to move and so it all happened insanely fast, and so 10 out of 10 would recommend that People are fixing their credit scores drastically. It's really beautiful what's happening.

Speaker 1:

So that actually starts this week. So if you're like I would like to radically transform my finances, then shoot me a message, send me fan mail. Somebody just did that this week and it was really fun. I love that, so shoot me a message, send me fan mail, instagram, facebook, whatever works for you. I'm not a picky, weird person, so that was incredible. We're really excited to bring a wealth course in here, and I personally could do a whole episode on how transformational that was for my husband and I. Then we also announced and this was the announcement Camille was supposed to make, but I got to make it which was really beautiful is we announced the Kingdom Author Academy, and so if you have ever wanted to write a book, this is for you, seven weeks long. It starts next week, so which is I know it's a lot happening. That starts next week and you will leave that with two chapters complete, and I've taken that with Camille twice already and I have one book almost completely finished. I have another book started I was going to finish. It's really funny. I was going to finish the one book during the second round of Kingdom Author Academy with Camille and I couldn't do it.

Speaker 1:

I sat down to my computer and I talked to text books. That's the way that I'm going to write them is I talk to text, I podcast, so this is just normal for me. I wish you could see me talking with my hands. It's very animated and I hope that comes across when you listen to me and when people read things that I write. I hope it comes across that way because I get really excited when I talk.

Speaker 1:

And so I talked to text and I couldn't get anything out with this one book and I was like why am I having such bad writer's block? Like I know what I want to say, I know what I'm supposed to get out, but it wasn't coming out. And so then I was really just like sitting in prayer about this. I'm like what do you, lord, like? What do you want me to do, dory? Like I don't want to waste seven weeks of my life like going through this and not producing anything. And that's when I got the idea for this book to talk about being a human being versus human doing. And I haven't necessarily I'll probably start that again next week with everybody, just because I'm really fleshing that out and I had a revelation last night. We can dive into that later. That has nothing to do with this conference, but it was like a really interesting revelation that I had. So, but anyway. So we made that announcement, which is incredible. So now, not only can you become a speaker, you can become a co-chair, you can work on your wealth and you become an author. So the other big announcement and we have a lot of them.

Speaker 1:

But we launched a full-blown publishing house and I wish you again you could see me. I'm holding, I have a copy of the book in my hand. So we launched the first book. It's called Restore my Soul. It's beautiful, it's got the matte finish on it and so it's like soft when you touch it. It's like that buttery softness and I love it. But we launched this book. It's like chicken soup, right, when you think about the chicken soup books. But there are these beautiful stories of like deliverance and redemption and so like think chicken soup, but like very Jesus focused. So I am the marketing director of our publishing house, which is amazing. So if you've ever wanted to publish a book, you could just go to ourkingdomalliancecom slash publishing house or it's right there in the main menu and you can get on a call and we can talk about publishing your book too, because that's something we do now. And the book the very first book publishing your book too, because that's something we do now.

Speaker 1:

And the book the very first book hit bestseller for eight straight days maybe nine I have to double check but number one bestseller, multiple categories, and it was really incredible to share that experience. We had a lot of the authors there. We did a full book signing. It was crazy. We signed books for over an hour and a half, which was just amazing, and so that was really incredible to share with a lot of these women and, because I was the marketing director, I read every single one of their stories before they actually hit the book so I could help them individually with their marketing. And they're so raw, these stories are so good. I've known a lot of these women now for two years and I didn't actually know them until I read this story and, of course, I'm only seeing another fraction of their story and who they are. But it really gave me some deeper insight and I can look at this now and I can be like oh man, I'm going through.

Speaker 1:

Like my friend Brandy, she talked about her infertility struggle and adoption, which is something Glenn and I have talked extensively about. We even talked about it today on our way home from church. We talked about adoption again, and so I can read this chapter and find encouragement for that season, as it's something Glenn and I pray about, and if you guys want to be in prayer with us, that would be really cool. Obviously, it's a very major decision in our life and so if you could be in prayer about that with us, that would be so great. And so we launched Publishing House with a number one bestseller, which is amazing.

Speaker 1:

And then we had what did we have going on? Oh, I think, the biggest announcement for people, and this is really Maybe I'll back it up. I'll tell you like one one other fun announcement, and then the big one that everybody's the most excited for, I think so we also, because we certify coaches. We dropped three new courses that coaches can teach, so one on networking, one on identity, which I'm very excited to teach, and then one on relationships. And I'm like this is incredible, like from experts in the field who are going to help you, and then you, as a coach here in our community, you can take those and teach them and get paid for them. So it's and it's done for you right, like the whole back office is done for you. You don't have to handle collecting payment, you don't have to worry about doing any of those things. They provide all the material. You just get to show up and teach it and like steward what you've been given. So I'm excited about that.

Speaker 1:

But the big thing people are excited for, especially with the holidays coming up, is we added a new savings club and the savings club is incredible. So it's only available. Whether you're a basic or a VIP, you get access to the Savings Club. And so with the Savings Club, I have an app and I can put in my I'm literally going to do it while I'm recording, so I'm going to put in my zip code into the Savings Club and it tells me and again, I live in rural Georgia. So just in my little rural spot there's 3,416 deals, just like for local places to me, which is insane. And of course, some of it extends into Pula or it extends into Savannah or Statesboro, but those are all like 10 minutes away.

Speaker 1:

But like good deals. I'm talking 20% off every time you order a pizza. I just got 48 cents back on every gallon of gas I just bought which listen, gas is expensive. And so I'm like, okay, this is great. And then it had like 50% off of toys at Target and I was like that's convenient. 50% off Christmas items at Target. I was like this is perfect 40% off at Lego. I have two boys. I was like this is really convenient. But then the other big thing so I don't have a Target close by, I have to go all the way to Savannah, which sounds further than it is. It takes me like 40 minutes to get there, which that's really dramatic of me. But there's a Walmart 10 minutes from my house and they had 65% off at Walmart, which is again crazy. So I was looking I can't say why I wanted to get the kids because they listened to this on YouTube. But there was something I wanted to get for the kids for Christmas YouTube. But there was something I wanted to get for the kids for Christmas and it was almost $400 cheaper because of the savings club. So that's pretty mind-boggling.

Speaker 1:

We also added health benefits, which is huge. So with the health benefits, you and seven members of your family can do telehealth for $35 a visit and it's up to 80% off of 800 of the most common prescriptions Crazy. Then we added a co-op with farmers. So I'm like this is amazing. So now I'm getting 15% off of my meat. I have health benefits, which is great, because I did not have health insurance. Glenn and the kids do, but I don't because Glenn gets it through the VA, the kids get it because they're kids, and then I just never do because I don't. I very rarely get sick either. So I just don't have health insurance, which I'm sure somebody's going to come at me and tell me that's a really terrible idea, I'm sure of it. So, especially because I was like I had pneumonia, so I'm like that's fine. But now I can telehealth it and I'm like this is convenient. And because I'm so holistic in things, I want to prevent as much as humanly possible before I ever get to a need where I have to go to a doctor. So I'm like this works for me.

Speaker 1:

And then we're doing something with our savings club called Rush to Save. So this is coming out on the 21st, so you still have nine days to do it. Whoever saves the most it's not like a raffle or anything, it's just whoever just point blank, saves the most money. And we just started it, so it's not like you're behind. We only announced it a couple of days ago. Whoever saves the most as a part of our savings club, michelle and Bobby are giving $1,000 cash too. So not only do you save the most amount of money, but then you also get $1,000 in cash. That could be your entire Christmas funded and done and you saved money. So I'm pretty excited about that.

Speaker 1:

What were some other big highlight-y things? I feel like some of them were personal. I ended up winning the Spirit Award, which is peer-nominated and peer-voted on who embraces the spirit of the company the best, and somehow I won that, which is incredible. I'm definitely very grateful and I said that in my acceptance speech just how grateful I am. Just the community and the family that is here, this community has been with me through, I would say, some of the toughest things I've gone through in the last two and a half years, and never once have they passed judgment. They've just been nothing but insanely supportive. So very grateful for that. And then I also won the Coach of the Year award and that is just straight data-driven. I had taught the most amount of Radiant Leadership Academy and had graduated the most Radiant leaders, all ICF accredited for the entire year, which is mind-boggling to me. So I'm definitely very grateful for just that opportunity and everything that's come from it. There's been a lot of really cool things and I can't necessarily get into like all of them. There's a lot of things I'm working through with God.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if I should tell you about this dream I had. Maybe I won't, maybe I'll save it, maybe I'll save it for an episode. We'll see what comes out of next week's episode. I'm recording it tomorrow with a very special guest. Maybe I should tell you, should I tell? Maybe I'll tell Okay. So tomorrow I am recording with Ray Higdon. I met him at our conference, we had lunch, we talked, it was great, and him and I have continued to talk for the last week since we've both been home and I mean because he's not that far from me and so tomorrow we're recording. So I'm recording this on Sunday. So by the time you're listening to this, I will probably be either recording with Ray or we've already finished recording, and so I'm really excited to just get on and talk to him and have this conversation, because I think it's going to be. I think it's going to be really fun. So that's what I've been up to for this whole week.

Speaker 1:

I know people have been watching my Instagram stories and reaching out, and if I've been slow, I'm so sorry. I'm trying to get caught up and get back into the swing of things. Like I said, my little introvert self struggles. I'm doing so much better than I was last year. It was hard because we'd done the speaker certification leading up to the event and so I did two days of speaker training. That was all day long, I'm talking, from like 8.30, 9 o'clock in the morning until like 3, 4 in the afternoon for two straight days. And then I was with people and we were at dinner and I shared a room with my sweet friend Jen, which was great and I love Jen.

Speaker 1:

But again, my introvert self, I'm like oh, next year I have to be alone. And so then we had the event. I spoke at the event. This year I spoke two days in a row at the event and so, but because I think I had that alone time and I was like there the day before, and this year nobody was on my return flight home, which also, I think, made a difference, last year there were people on my return flight home and so it wasn't even like I could be alone on my plane, there was people on my flight back.

Speaker 1:

So I think me just and again, I don't want this to come off terrible right, because I love everybody I'm with, but my introvert brain needs. I need to protect the alone time that I do get, and so I'm recovering a lot better than I was last year. Last year it took me almost three weeks to get back to my normal self. This year it took me like two days and I was back to normal. So I feel like we're doing a lot better and so, anyway, I'm excited to just share some other fun things. We have a lot going on. It's been busy since I've been back and I'm just excited. Oh, I feel like another fun thing.

Speaker 1:

So I've had people reach out about Kingdom Alliance since I've been back, and one of the fun things we did is because we've rebranded and the website is brand new. Everything is brand new. There's nothing on here that is old, and so because of that, we reopened our founding ambassador and so because of that, we reopened our founding ambassador opportunity, and so if anybody wants to know what that is like, just shoot me a message. I'm actually doing a training on Tuesday I'll link it in the show notes for you on how to become a founding ambassador and how you could make an extra like thousand plus dollars before Christmas, which would be huge for, again, a lot of people. It's a fully funded Christmas. So like, not only could you save, but you could also earn. So, co-founder and I are going to do that training at one o'clock Eastern on Tuesday. So, like I said, I will link it in the show notes for you to come to that.

Speaker 1:

And I'm just excited because it comes with some extra perks. I think you guys will be excited about it. If you're like I have a business or I'm looking to start a business, this could be a good opportunity for you. And you guys know I was very anti-network marketing before. I said that actually in my comp plan training about how much I used to hate the industry. This doesn't feel. It doesn't feel gross to me. A we're not copying and pasting anything Like that, just that's gross to me. But also like it's ICF accredited and people are like going to speak on stages and we're producing bestsellers and like our people are going out and doing something with the skillset that they're learning here. So I'm just excited about what we're doing. And yeah, I can't wait for you to hear from Ray next week.

Speaker 1:

It was really cool because he's been a Christian for only two years and I know he'll tell the story, but it's really cool because he is a relentless person, and he said that when he came to our event is that he is pretty relentless, and so he's talking about things in Aramaic and Greek and Hebrew and quoting scripture left and right. It was really cool to see how, when you have this hunger and this passion for the Lord, what can transpire. It's like compounded effort, and so, anyway, it was really cool to see just how his hunger for the Lord transpired and like what it's done for him, and so I'm excited to actually have that conversation. How does it relate to business and all those kind of fun things? So I hope you guys have an incredible week.

Speaker 1:

It's going to be a busy rest of the year here. We have a lot of fun topics coming up, so I hope you just stick with me and I will see you next week. Bye friends. Hey friend, what a joy it has been to share today's journey with you. If you found a spark of inspiration or a nugget of wisdom that resonated, would you bless someone else by sharing this episode with them? It could be the encouragement they need to step into their purpose and calling. Also, if you could spare a moment to leave a review, it would mean the world to me. I really appreciate your feedback and it really helps our community grow. Remember, the road to discovering God's call for you isn't one you have to walk alone. So join me again next Monday for another episode where we'll continue to explore the depths of leadership and the heights of our heavenly calling. Until then, keep seeking, keep growing and keep trusting in His plan. God bless you and I'll catch you.
