Speaker 1:

Hey, I'm Lemon. I am just like you, sister friend. Talk about stepping into that overflow that God has for us by becoming those ultimate Proverbs 31 women. Hey, I'm Lemon. I am just like you, sister friend. I knew God had something more in store for me, but I couldn't see a way out of the laundry piles and, frankly, I resented that. Proverbs 31 woman. How was I going to live up to the hype? That is until I found out how to really step into becoming this Proverbs 31 woman through leadership development. In this podcast, you're going to find financial freedom, leadership, growth and motivation so you'll be able to do all the things God has called you to do with ease and really step into that land of milk and honey.

Speaker 1:

Hi friends, welcome back to another episode of Milk and Honey. I'm your host, lemon. I'm really excited because today I want to talk about being a better speaker and how we all need to be a better speaker. You might be thinking I don't want to speak on a stage and I don't want to launch a podcast. Or maybe you're like I do want to start a podcast and I want to be a better speaker and I want to book speaking gigs, no matter which camp you fall in.

Speaker 1:

This episode is for you. Whether you're leading a team, running a business or trying to communicate more effectively with your family, this episode is for you. I want to talk about the power of your voice specifically. I think it is the number one tool that can set you apart. It opens doors and changes lives. I want to talk about why you have to be a better speaker, no matter where you are or what you do. So why is this a non-negotiable skill? Whether you're climbing a corporate ladder and you still have a nine to five, or you're trying to make more sales or you just want to lead your family and your community, your ability to move people with your words is key. It's not just about what you say, it's about how you say it. Words have the power to inspire, lead and create change. Think about it. If I came on here and was like you need to be a better speaker, my friend, you need to be a better speaker. You'd be like that's awful, I'm not interested, but it's the tone, my excitement level, it's the enthusiasm she could see me. I talk with my hand. I am a full animated speaker when I talk, and so when I say you should be a better speaker. You can hear it in my voice. You know what I'm saying, I believe, and so that's what you have the power to do as a speaker. Think about this Every great leader, impactful entrepreneur, every person who's ever made a significant difference in the world, they have one thing in common they know how to use their voice.

Speaker 1:

They know how to deliver a message that transcended the moment and left a lasting impact, to leave something lasting with people. People don't remember what you say, but they'll remember how you made them feel. The way you make them feel is with your speaking tonality, the messaging, the enthusiasm, the authenticity behind your voice. All of those things matter in how you leave somebody feeling, and people will remember that longer than they will remember the exact words that you use. This is more important for us as believers, because in 1 Peter, 3, 15, and I love this as, like the apologetics verse, it says but in your hearts, revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you, to give the reason for the hope that you have to do this with gentleness and respect. It is not just about being ready to speak, it's about being ready to share the hope that we have in Christ, and to do it with gentleness and respect your words. Have the power to point people to the gospel and to the life-changing love of Jesus, and knowing how to share that message makes a difference.

Speaker 1:

Have you guys ever heard somebody give their testimony and you got lost in the middle of it because they started pulling things in that weren't really relevant? Maybe they felt relevant to them or it was just like a jumbled mess. You understood what they were trying to get across, but not really. That's why you have to be like a good speaker. I think about times at a testimony meeting or something and somebody will get up and just start blubbering and there's no organization to their thoughts. I just left more confused than I was before, and I know the gospel. I can't imagine if that's how you presented the gospel to people. That just sounds like a recipe for disaster. To be perfectly honest, sometimes you're the only Bible people are ever going to read. You're the only Bible people are going to experience. It's the only way people are going to experience love of Christ and so being able to effectively communicate, that can change an entire generation.

Speaker 1:

Now let's talk about how you set yourself apart, because as believers we're supposed to be set apart. Imagine this You're standing on a stage in front of thousands of people, the lights are on you, the room is buzzing and all eyes are looking at you. However, you're not nervous. You're not nervous. Do you know that what you're about to say is going to bring breakthrough, shift and transformation? You're confident, you're prepared and that your message is going to leave a lasting impact. It is a reality that you get to achieve, whether you're behind the camera or on stage. Being able to deliver a powerful message is what sets you apart. It makes your calendar fully booked and your influence unmatched. It is what turns people to the gospel.

Speaker 1:

When you are confident in what you're saying, when you can speak with enthusiasm, when you can share breakthrough and your own transformation, being able to share that effectively changes others' lives, and you have a responsibility to do that as a believer. Proverbs 18.21 says the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. When you speak with intention and with purpose, your words can bring life and transformation. Isn't that what we all want, as believers, as moms, as entrepreneurs to bring life and transformation. Knowing how to communicate effectively will set you apart as a leader.

Speaker 1:

Think about some of the most impactful speakers. You might be thinking like Tony Robbins, I could deliver the same information. Or a newbie speaker could deliver the same exact information, and it wouldn't be as impactful because he's practiced, prepared, intentional and knows his purpose. That's what you get to do. I want to talk about the impact that your voice has when you become a better speaker, you're not just improving your communication skills. You get to step into a new level of influence. You're becoming a person who can lead better, who can inspire more, who makes an even bigger difference.

Speaker 1:

Like I already said, your words bring life, they bring hope, they bring transformation. This world is filled with so much noise. Your voice can be the one that stands out, the one that people listen to and the one that God uses to bring about his purposes. Jesus told his disciples, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on. You and you will be my witnesses. In Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. There's a call to be a witness and to testify about what God has done, and it's not just for these early disciples, it is for you. Right now, your voice carries the message of the gospel to the ends of the earth. It's a gift that we have right now.

Speaker 1:

I should become a better speaker. If you want to be a better speaker, I encourage you to do the Kingdom Speaker Academy with me. I have already done it three times. One is coming up and let me tell you becoming a better speaker if you've been here since the beginning, january of 2023, podcast episodes used to be 30 minutes. They were jumbled, I was not as articulate, I was not as confident, and then I took the Kingdom Speaker Academy twice and I became a certified speaker and that is what helped my podcast go from not even being ranked to top 2% in the entire world. That's how I ended up in Forbes twice. It's why the podcast is booked out until mid-2025.

Speaker 1:

Because I have become a better speaker, I get requests to speak at conferences because I'm a better speaker, without even putting myself out there as a certified speaker. People come to me and they request that I speak because they have seen me speak, because people have heard me speak, and so I get requested to speak all the time. Kingdom Speaker Academy the pre-work starts on the 9th, so if you're listening to this the week of the 9th. You can do prep work with me and it's only nine weeks long. You'll be trained by three different industry experts. They have over 60 years of experience. They'll learn tools, techniques and strategies to become a better and more transformational speaker. Whether you're looking to speak in front of thousands of people or just want to communicate more effectively with your spouse or with your kids, ksa will give you everything that you need. And this isn't just let me teach you how to speak, but how to speak with purpose, power and the message that God has placed on your heart. It's really about you becoming that vessel for change and a voice for the kingdom and a leader who is unafraid to stand up and speak out. We need more kingdom speakers.

Speaker 1:

I look at what's happening in the world politically this push for less than biblical ideology. If you're in the United States, you know what I'm talking about. I just saw somebody. When I go to interview schools, I ask are there any non-biological animals who use litter boxes? Crazy questions. The people who behave in this way are the loudest. They are a very small portion of the population. They're just loud. They're good at articulating their cause and pushing what they believe.

Speaker 1:

You are mandated as a believer, to be a better speaker, to be vocal, to go out and share what the Lord has done with you. This isn't me saying come and do this with me because it'd be for funsies. You have a biblical mandate to do. Jesus himself said in Matthew 10, 20, for it is not you who will speak, but the spirit of your father speaking through you, and that's the confidence that you get to have as a kingdom speaker. We're not speaking our own words. This isn't our agenda that we're pushing. It's the Holy Spirit speaking through us to bring God's message to those who need to hear it. If you want to take your communication skills to the next level, if you're ready to become the speaker that God created you to be, then I want you to come and do this with me. Shoot me a message on Instagram or on Facebook. Just go to Facebook and type in Lemon Price. It's time that you step into your calling and develop your voice and become the leader you were designed to be. This is meant for you.

Speaker 1:

There are people out there waiting to hear your experience. God did not bring you through something so you could sit on it for the rest of your life. He brought you through something so you could sit on it for the rest of your life. He brought you through something so you had a testimony you could share. He brought you through this so you could share what he has done in and through you with other people, so they can hear a message that they have so needed. I just had this experience. Actually, I'm working on a book. I just sent the outline to a couple of people and I got feedback. This morning A friend sent me feedback. She goes this is exactly the book I needed to read 10 plus years ago. She says this is exactly what I needed. This information is exactly what I needed.

Speaker 1:

Thank you for being so vocal about it. I want to encourage you. Your voice matters. You are needed in this space. Do not think that there is not a place for you. Nobody has your experience, your skill set, your spiritual gifts. Nobody else has that unique combination. I don't ever want to hear somebody say the market's saturated or there's so many content creators or there's too many. This. That's a lie. That's a lie from the pit of hell. I'm going to be so honest with you. You are meant to be sharing your story. The Bible mandates it. God's telling you that you're mandated to do this.

Speaker 1:

If you're listening to this and it is the week of September, the 9th 2024, get in touch with me, because we run this a couple of times a year. Know that you can come and do it with us. We have prep work you could be doing, so maybe there's one not starting, maybe you're listening to this in like November and one's not starting until January. That's okay, I have prep work you could be doing. I have a ton of prep work you could be doing to get yourself ready to become a certified speaker. Get in touch with me, reach out on Instagram or Facebook and let's like. Get you moving and grooving, friend, because the people you're called and anointed to serve are waiting for you to take the next step. They want to hear more vulnerability from you. If you're ready, you know how to find me. I can't wait to do this with you Until next week.

Speaker 1:
